Hi Pete, not a question... Just saying Hello. I was telling my wife about practices and Meets back in my day, and I looked you up because you were such an amazing Hard Ass back then, and I have no doubt that you pushed me to be a much better swimmer than I ever would have been with any other candy azz coach from that era. This is Andrew Branigan, and I swam with the Blazers back in the late 70s to early 80s. I would hope you would remember me because I was actually one of your top swimmers in the 11-12 and 13-14 divisions before I started slacking off and swam for SM West, then dropped it when it was clear that I didn't possess the work effort to compete at a higher level and still be able to be a normal teenager. But I know you have seen alot of us. Regardless, the lessons and discipline I learned from developing that type of dedication from an early age has served me well in life and I believe I have you to thank for that. Everything is great, I've worked in the medical field for nearly 30 years and spent 6 years in the Army prior to that. Living in middle Georgia, married and children, couldn't ask for much more in life. I hope you are still well and as Sharp and aggressive as I remember you to be. Back then you had a black Afro and beard. When you stared hard at me it almost felt like a red hot poker going through my soul!! You were a real tough guy and I didn't realize what an honor it was to be on your team back then. I do now.... once again thanks for everything and a very unique and happy time in my life. ThNk you for remembering me I do remember your story if my impact brings lots of thoughts I like to think I got wiser without losing my ability to motivate and leave a impact in building character and ownership to ones dreams goals potential. Lots has changed in my life after retirements d it was time to follow my dreams as I asked of you .
